Mother of Akhnaton, Queen consort and Queen Mother of Nubia; Queen Tiye was always seen as an equal and never as an afterthought to her Pharaoh; Amenhotep III. Queen Tiye's fashion and beauty was a tremendous influence for the women in the royal court. Just look at her daughter-in-law, Queen Nefertiti.

One of the things Queen Tiye made sure of was to always wear her prized Kepra Girdle over her clothes. A divine 5-strand style of turquoise toned glass beads, gold toned glass beads and multicolored bead mix to give it depth. A large wood Kepra scarab sits off center ('cuz Queen Tiy had a lot of swag), charms hanging on either side of the scarab for a queens touch.

This waist bead style is to be fashioned over your clothes. Please measure where you would like it to fall.
