The gold toned cowrie shell is a lead free, base metal pewter charm. It
will not turn green, but gold tone will fade after repeated washings.

occasionally wear while bathing. This style is NOT recommended to wear
on a regular basis while washing because of metal components.
* To keep the "powder"
finish of the matte beads, do not use oil-based moisturizers. Or wait till
moisturizer fully soaks into skin before wearing.
* All waist beads are made with a gold tone or silver tone base metal clasp.
* You have the option to upgrade to a Sterling Silver clasp.
